Isabella Benjamin

Isabella Benjamin is a contemporary artist who lives in leafy Hertfordshire. It's beautiful countryside has inspired her to create abstract artworks which are now found in collections in the UK, Europe, USA, and Australia. The artist is proudly mostly self-taught with a passion for expressive colours and a journey discovery of her craft. She paints using multi- dimensional mixed media during an intuitive artistic process which exposes the relationship between textures and colours. Isabella's abstract imagery focuses on innovative use of resin, ink and concrete applied to wood, canvas and metal. This gives rise to sculptural, evocative and often iridescent work with a balance of form and composition. Isabella has participated in many exhibitions throughout the UK to wide acclaim ; and has been chosen to provide artwork for the Dalit charity Christmas cards. She has exhibited at Chelsea Town Hall, Princess Helena College, The Picturecraft Gallery, Holt, to name but a few. Isabella paints both for exhibition and for private and public commission.
