I live by the seaside (no sea view unfortunately) and I just love colourful beach huts. They always bring back childhood memories of sitting on the beach at St Ives with my family eating homemade pasties – well we are Cornish! Agapanthus is a plant which you will find in many gardens but it also frequently found growing in flower beds along coastal towns. In this painting the blue Agapanthus (they also come in white) contrast beautifully with the yellow sand.

A high quality Giclee print which is gallery wrapped and comes with an individualised Certificate of Authenticity. The print has an antique white mount and will fit a ready-made 40cm square frame.

I am a Cornish artist who has spent many years developing my unique style of painting with acrylics so that today my work is instantly recognisable. I feel lucky that the hobbies which I enjoy in my free time contribute towards my intense enthusiasm for painting. The photographs I take whilst walking and kayaking become the reference material for my work. I am so fortunate to live in such a beautiful county, surrounded by the sea with so many inland waterways - truly inspirational.
