Amber/gold glass face

I am currently producing a range of cast glass art faces in a choice of colours. These have been mounted on a slate tile ready for fixing to a wall. The glass is mounted approximately 6mm away from the slate, in order to allow light to be transmitted through the glass. There is an area above the face where you can write a message on the slate, either a personal message or for corporate use (i.e. Welcome to…. Today’s target….The customer is king… etc.)  The glass size is 24cm x 14cm approximately.
Colour combinations to your specification available to order.

Each of these have been hand made using the lost wax method and are signed and numbered. There will be a limited edition of this design of 100 pieces.

Made with a combination of clear and coloured glass.

Having worked with glass for over 22 years, I still find the medium technically challenging at times, this often inspires me to push the boundaries of what I want to do, and what I know I am capable of. As a result, you're always learning. Movement within the glass, shape or colour are my signature pieces, that along with a sense of humor in my work are all essential for me to be happy with an individual piece or a body of work around a specific theme. I often try to allow the viewer to have a glimpse inside the piece, but not to see all the way through with total transparency, to give the viewer a feeling of wanting to actually go into the glass to see what's there. I have exhibited both nationally and internationally in Europe and have sold pieces throughout the continent.
