Lee Nicholls
Lee Nicholls was born in Derby but moved to the West Midlands when he was a child. After school he was employed as a Civil Engineering Technician. In 1987, after selling more than 200 greeting card designs he became a full time illustrator, cartoonist and designer and is totally self taught. He has since produced work for children's books, toys, packaging and print and his clients include Cadbury, Early Learning Centre, Mothercare, Tarmac, Marks & Spencer and Oxford University Press. Now living on the Kent coast, he has a studio is an old shop 100m from the harbour and splits his time between illustrating and painting.
