When choosing to decorate your home, do you include embellished canvases? If not, then you are missing out! Embellished canvases can add that something special to any room. It’s simple, elegant, tasteful, and definitely something you should have in your home. If you’re looking for something really special a painting that has that extra something, then what you’re really looking for is a "canvas wrap triptych Giclee print hand embellished". When your triptychs are embellished, they stand out and have so much more detail than any other kinds of painting. They are better simply because it adds to the complexity of the piece and people will certainly notice it! A seemingly flat piece of art can come alive with embellishment. Once the painting is printed on the canvas and mounted as a canvas wrap, I then add texture to the piece. This turns the Giclee canvas print into an original digital painting or as I refer to it “a digital original.” Texture is added to the canvas surface with acrylic gel medium. My process is to add the acrylic gel medium using both paintbrush and painting knife. This is the part that truly turns this piece into an unique painting. There are never two pieces that are embellished the same therefore the painting will look slightly different to the painting shown due to the embellishment. Therefore each time the image is printed and hand embellished it becomes an original painting.
Earth tone is a color scheme that draws from a color palette of browns, tans, warm grays, greens, oranges, whites, and some reds, and some blues.
The colors in an earth tone scheme are muted and flat in an emulation of the natural colors found in dirt, moss, trees and rocks.
Many earth tones originate from clay earth pigments, such as umber, ochre, and sienna.

Hi my name is James, born in 1946 in the then small town of Irvine in north Ayrshire Scotland. Learned hands on, the basics of how to paint from my father using oils. Did not paint for many years until found this method of hand painting using a digital oil painting medium combined with a tablet. Digital oil painting is still quite new and gives the owner an artwork which is considered a unique painting. I paint without limitations as to my choice of subjects from still life and landscapes to portraits, figurative, horse and dance movement. The style of my artwork is sometimes contemporary yet very traditional, this inspired by impressionist paintings and influenced by realistic styling to convey character and / or movement of my subjects hopefully allowing the viewer to enjoy a glimpse of the mood.
