Boats at St Winnow – Giclee Print
In the Domesday Book of 1086 St Winnow was recorded as ‘San Winnuc’. In Cornish St Winnow is ‘Sen Gwynnow’. Inside the church is the Cornish language version of The Lord’s Prayer. The current church is mostly of 15th century construction, but sits on Norman foundations. It boasts one of the few remaining rood screens in Cornwall.
This is a vibrant and colourful view of the church towering above the bushes which grow right on the shoreline. The shapes of the trees and bushes are reflected in the water which reaches down to lap against two boats. Little trees dot the horizon of the distant hills upon which sit fat bulbous clouds.
This high quality giclee print is mounted and will fit a standard readymade frame.
