London at night, Big Ben and the number 159

A night scene loosely painted in acrylics in a pop art style, reflecting the feeling of how this capital city never sleeps, with an iconic number 159 routemaster bus travelling over Westminster Bridge towards Parliment Square. With headlights shining from vehicles approaching from the square, to reflections of the street lights shining on the passers by, it captures the night life of this part of London. This is an original acrylic painting by Darren Andrews, painted on quality 300g primed paper, and comes  mounted and framed. This artwork also comes with a signed certificate of authenticity from the artist.  58 × 58 × 2 cm (framed) / 50x50cm (unframed) / 40.5 × 40.5 cm (actual artwork size).

darren andrews

I live in the county of Essex in England where I was born, and have been painting since my childhood days, and I am self taught artist with no art qualifications, and I like the fact that I can create art that is totally from my heart and as a result, my paintings capture my great love of the colours and moodiness a landscape can offer. I hope that when you view my work, you feel the same liveliness in my work as I do. I find art very expressionistic and I am proud to be able to be part of something so creative and wonderful.
