About this piece

This digital collage of Gabriel García Márquez’s masterpiece, One Hundred Years of Solitude, is constructed from 40 layers of individually cut elements, shaped by freehand using a graphics pen and pad. It is one in a series of literary inspired artworks that are developed from skethces from still life settings and then constructed from layers of vibrant colours and textures.
The final product is a limited edition run of 25, 8×8” prints on an archival 190gsm fine art paper, a paper that brings out the richness of colour and the tactility of textures.

This artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by the artist.
