Media Naranja is a Spanish saying, translated simplistically in English meaning ‘ the other half of my orange’ representing a close relationship. like two half of an orange they fit together perfectly, reflecting this, the wall sculpture incorporates two identical forms coming together to make one whole. The work is influenced and affected by light and shadow changing the mood of the piece when light is cast across it causes the mirrored forms to react in an equal but opposite way; one is in shadow while the other is in light balancing and supporting each other. The medium is Polyester Resin with marble like filler.
