CastleCloud Art

I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration in 2005, and have been working as an artist and illustrator ever since.
I am inspired by the Golden Age of Illustration, especially the work of Arthur Rackham, and my work ethos is centred around the concept of ‘Recovery’ as penned by Tolkien, and ‘Mooreefoc’ as Dickens called it. This is centred around the idea that things you may have seen a thousand times, and stopped ‘seeing’, are always worth another look, with a different perspective. Hence my company name, CastleCloud Art, which does not refer to the castle in the air, but rather the clouds which hold them, or in other words, potential for ideas and inspiration.
