Clare Hatcher

Clare Hatcher is an Artist who paints primarily in oils, but also uses watercolour with coloured pencil, and pen and ink.  She lives and works in Dorset England.
One of the most important aspects of Clares output is the huge range of subjects that she has covered.  Her work ranges from Portrait, Still Life, Landscape, Animals and Birds, The Countryside and Plants and latterly Abstract.
She has exhibited widely in Dorset, but also in Surrey and London.
Most recently she has had work exhibited in The Royal Society of Portrait Painters annual exhibition, in the Mall Galleries, London.
She has also exhibited Miniatures, and in the ‘Salon De Refuse’ at The Llewellyn Alexander Gallery London, and also The Medici Gallery, London.
Her work has also been included in a touring Sporting Art Exhibition, travelling to France, Italy, Holland, The Virgin Isles and New York.
Clare has worked as a Freelance Illustrator for some of Londons top Publishing Houses, notably, Penguin, Macmillan, Micheal Joseph and Pelham to name but a few.
She has won awards with the  London Association of Illustrators and the European Illustrators Association on more than one occasion.
One of Clares portraits was recently selected by The Standard Chartered Bank, in Singapore, to join their collection, which is reputed to be the largest collection of contemporary figurative paintings in the world.
