Mary Kemp

I am an impressionist painter with a fondness for going down to the seaside with sketchbook in hand. The seaside is at the heart of much that I paint. Even when I paint a landscape I'm thinking of it in relation to the coast.  I've been creating art for quite a while now. I went to Salisbury College of Art , and just knew I had to paint for the rest of my life.  I've exhibited in galleries, and gift shops, department stores, craft fairs, open exhibitions, open studio events and even open air events. It's a great adventure. Nowadays I embrace the internet which has seen my horizons expanded so that my work is regularly shipped to the USA.
